With My Eye on You
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”

Just before this, David says his bones wasted away and his strength was gone while he kept silent. Then he says how it felt when he finally spoke it out loud. This promise of guidance comes immediately after confession, not before it. God is watching him kindly, not sternly.
How much of this week went into keeping one thing hidden? David talked about his bones and his strength, not his conscience. He felt relief only when he finally said it out loud. This is not about punishment; it is about being able to move again.
Stop Carrying the Hidden Thing
- 1Say to God the one thing you have been holding back. Plainly, without softening it.

- 3Notice how much lighter the rest of the day feels, and thank God for it.
God, I do not want to hide this any longer. I am putting it down.
