Remember to Rest
“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.”

After six days of creating, God rested on the seventh. He stopped to mark a rhythm: work and holy pause belong together. Sabbath asks you to honor the same limit. Stop once a week and trust that life does not collapse when you do.
Saturday morning. Laundry piles up, messages blink on your phone. Your body says stop, but guilt says keep going. God rested after creation. You can stop too, and Monday will still come.
Protect One Hour
- 1Tell one person in your home you are taking one hour off today with no tasks.
- 2Walk outside fifteen minutes with empty hands, or sit in sunlight and breathe.
Lord, the laundry and messages pull me back to work. Help me stop like You did and receive this hour as holy rest.
