Strength in Weakness
“But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.”

Paul begged God three times to remove his thorn. God answered: My grace is sufficient; power is made perfect in weakness. Joni Eareckson Tada broke her neck diving at seventeen. She never walked again. She learned to paint with her mouth and tell millions that Christ's strength shows up inside lifelong weakness, not after it disappears.
Wednesday evening. You straighten your shirt before a call so nobody sees the limp you carry. Joni could not hide her chair. She stopped pretending and found God strong in the place she felt weakest. You do not need to perform strength for the next hour. You can be honest and still belong here.
Tell One Weakness
- 1Tell one safe person one weakness you hide. Ask them to pray with you over it for thirty seconds.
- 2Write one word for what you hide. Say it aloud to God before you sleep tonight.
Jesus, I straightened my shirt before that call again. Joni found Your strength in what she could not hide. Let Your power rest on my weakest place tonight.
Where might Christ's power meet you if you stopped hiding weakness?

God's answer was sufficient grace, sometimes strength comes through bearing, not removal.
