New Every Morning
“Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Jeremiah watched Jerusalem burn. He walked past empty streets where children used to play. In that grief he wrote: God's mercies are new every morning. He did not pretend the ruin was fine. Loyalty still arrives at dawn even after the worst night.
Friday morning. Coffee cold. A text last night still stings. You stare at the ceiling before your feet hit the floor. Morning light fills the room anyway. You do not need to feel hopeful yet. You can take one breath and let today start fresh.
