Courage for the Next Step
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Joshua receives this command while stepping into overwhelming responsibility after Moses. Courage here is not personality type; it is response to promise. The command and the reason are joined: be strong because God is with you.
You may face tasks that feel bigger than your capacity. Fear says: 'Not you.' God says: 'I am with you.' Biblical courage is not denial of weakness. It is obedience in weakness with confidence in God's nearness.
