Why do we do it?
Sunday worship at Covenant says a lot about who we are and what we are about. As we travel on our spiritual journey, we realize the need to gather together and celebrate God’s goodness and the transforming power of His Word. This is not only wise; it also honors God. Each Sunday we gather at 9:00 and 10:30 in a casual and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoy growing solid relationships with long-term friends while making connections with new friends.
What do we do?
We share uplifting music and praise and our pastor teaches practical and relevant messages from God’s Word that you can take with you through the week. We have found that God’s Word makes sense for our lives. Usually we enjoy a few laughs along the way.
Will I fit in?
We have planned our services to be friendly to newcomers because we know it is hard to walk into a new church for the first time. Whether you are new to the community, beginning your spiritual search, or are a veteran [blessed or abused] of church life; we believe that God will bless you as we live out our vision of “Restoring Lives to God’s Purposes.” So, just come by as you are. We have no dress code and give a lot of smiles and welcomes. We think you’ll like what you find.
Why should you consider dropping by?
Our 75 minute services give you the freedom to relax as we focus our attention on God and His transforming Word and Spirit. We often say, “God is good. . . all the time” because we have experienced the goodness of His transformational power and believe that it is available for all people, including you.
What about the kids?
During both our 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM services, we provide quality programming for our children, nursery—5th grade. A quick stop by the registration desk and your kids will be ready for a fun learning-time of God’s Word in age-appropriate ways with crafts, games and music. We love to see our kids learning to love God with all their hearts.
Do you do have other programs on Sundays?
Sunday evening is a major programming time at Covenant. From 5:00-6:45 PM, Covenant is a swarm of activity for ALL ages as we offer programming for Children, Youth and Adults. Covenant Singers, a high-level vocal performance choir, rehearses from 7:00-8:30 PM.
