2012 Tithe Envelopes are available in the 1st floor hallway under the ministry pictures that serve as reminders of how your giving supports ministry at Covenant.  If you don’t see envelopes with your name, please talk to Pastor Mike.  

End of year giving will be received on Sundays, December 18, & Christmas eve or will need to be postmarked by December 31.  Gifts received on Sunday, January 1 and after will be posted to 2012 giving.  

The church office will be closed Monday, Dec 26 through Monday, January 2 and will reopen on Tuesday, January 3.

Providing clean water, coupled with health and hygiene education, is perhaps the most preventive measure we can take in keeping our world from infectious diseases. Every  day, 6,000 people—most of them children—die from dirty water. Samaritans’ Purse engages a multifaceted approach by providing, purifying, and protecting water. $100 will provide an easy-to-maintain household water filters that require no chemicals or electricity.  $750 helps Samaritan Purse establish and repair a shallow well or a deep borehole or other source of fresh water for a  community. $8,000 can supply enough clean water for 3,000 people by providing a portable water purification unit or other sustainable resource.

Our Honduras partnership

 In 2011, our youth led the way with their Mission Trip in establishing our partnership with Mike and Ginger Greene and their ministry in Honduras.  $3,000 will provide materials for the construction of one home. We also provided solar lights for homes where there is no electricity and light is provided by candles, oil lanterns or fires.  

Mission trips to Honduras for Adults are being formed and YOU can participate.
