The Cleaning Team is responsible for cleaning 1st and 2nd floor bathrooms, shower areas sweeping/vacuuming designated areas and emptying trash.
If you sign up for the The Laundry Team you will be responsible for picking up guest laundry on your designated day between 5-8 PM, washing and returning no later than 48 hours later.
Transportation involves driving our guests from the Columbia Mall to Covenant Park just before dinner time and taking them back to the mall in the morning after breakfast. There is a need for drivers to be trained to drive the 15-passenger van. Individual cars drivers are needed as well.

Shelter Hosts help create an informative, secure, and caring environment for the evening by greeting guests when they arrive, eat meals with them, play board games, watch TV with them, assist with shower materials and shower schedule, and other matters as they arise.
Food is the heart & soul of our week as we serve over 500 meals during this week. Volunteers are needed for DINNER PROVIDERS .
Volunteers are needed for SET-UP and BREAK-DOWN involving unloading supplies from the delivery truck and preparing rooms as well as returning the building to its original form after the shelter guests move out.
