The biggest thing about Covenant is that we are committed to RESTORING LIFE TO GOD’S PURPOSES.

In this commitment, we embrace and embody the ministry of intentional disciple-making through the means of small groups. Our programming and ministry organizations reflect this priority to the Great Commission. We believe the world will not be saved by one more preacher or sermon…but it can be transformed by:

small groups that provide a safe place for people to open up their real needs to the grace of God;
safe processes that are guided by trained leadership to deal with the stubborn effects of the fall with the Truth of Scripture;
secure people who delight in God’s incredibly wonderful and lavish accepting love;
and the strong focus of living as a spiritual catalyst in a world that needs God’s reconciling and restoring love.

The following statements express what we value:

We embrace the wonder and mystery of our Creator, and seek to celebrate, enjoy and experience the goodness of God, that far surpasses our understanding.
We stumble every day in many ways – and so we encourage one another to readily admit mistakes, not to hide rough edges, or to cover up our struggles.
We believe God loves each of us completely and unconditionally and that growth happens best in safety and acceptance.
We trust God is passionately pursuing a personal connection with each of us. We desire a personal connection with God and with each other.
We accept the challenge of Christ to serve in a world without becoming a product of it.
We feel that loving God leads to our allowing God to know us.
We want to love others – to be motivated, encouraged, and speak truth in love to build others up.
We seek to grow in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; this is what God produces in us when we yield ourselves to him.
We believe that each of us has been given unique gifts and abilities to love and serve Him by uniting together to love and serve one another. Every person has a unique role to play in God’s plan.
